. . quick question

I'm sorry if this isn't something that I should post here, but I couldn't find anywhere else. I've never voted for anyone on American Idol, and I don't have Cingular, so I can't text. Long story short, I have social anxiety disorder, and I have this fear talking to strangers on the phone. So, my question is... do people answer the phone when you dial the number for the person you want to vote for? Or do you just have to punch in numbers?

you dial the number for the person you want to vote for (shown after every performance) and then a recording comes on that says something like "thanks for voting for contestant number whatever, tune in tomorrow for american idol!"

no talking needed.

Well for the first 20 minutes or so all you'll get are busy signals anyway, but once you finally do get through it's a recording. No live person :)

I have the same fear, though I now control it slightly better than I used to. We should form a club...let's just make sure we don't form it on the phone ;-)

Good luck! I had that and panic attacks for many years. Wooo.
I still don't like talking to strangers on the phone but I do it when I have to!
